| This interface option is very good for people with a few signs on a simple RS485 network (you simply link from one display to the next) or if you need to have a much longer cable distance between your PC and your LED display. We supply the RS485 to RS232 adaptor free of charge if you purchase an RS485 sign from us. There is no additional cost for this interface option. |
Ethernet | | After the RS232, this is our most popular interface. It is very reliable, simple to setup and allows you to control a sign anywhere on your local LAN, WAN or on the Internet. Our Ethernet controller supports DHCP and static IP. As most modern buildings now have CAT5 cables fitted as standard it can save running cables round, it is also secure and fast to update. There is an additional cost for this interface option. |
USB | 
| As most laptops don't have RS232 ports anymore, we have developed a USB adaptor which allows you to connect any standard RS232 sign to a USB port. This adaptor is small enough to fit into your laptop bag. Our RJ11 cable plugs straight in. We also have a USB to RS485 converter There is an additional cost for this interface option. |
Modem | | Telephone modems are still a very popular method of controlling LED signs and apart from the line rental, costs are very low. There is an additional cost for this interface option. |
Radio Data Modem | | Radio Data Modems are an excellent way to control a remote LED display with very low running costs after the initial purchase. The Radio Data Modem module is smaller than a credit card and is available as a 900 MHz (North America) and 2.4 GHz (worldwide) RF solution. The power outputs are 100 mW (900 MHz) or 50 mW (2.4 GHz) power output options (up to 20 mile range). There is an additional cost for this interface option. |
GSM | | GSM based LED displays offer the ultimate in flexability. You can easily move signs without any re-wiring of data cables. You can also locate them at any location which has a GSM signal. We can also provide low cost static IP SIM cards with data transfer built into the price to make GSM modems a very viable option for LED Display control. Digital Inputs | | Using our SDHXi interface, you can pre-program messages using the software we supply, connect your LED display to the interface and recall messages using 24VDC digital inputs - great for machine control or similar applications. Sound Store | 
| The Sound Store is a digital interface which allows you to send messages to an LED sign and play pre-recorded audio anouncements simultaneously. It is supplied with software to download the audio and text messages to the controller. The Sound Store has an output to control the PA MIC button so it can connect directly to PA systems. The message to be played can be called using a digital input or a simple communications string. There is an additional cost for this interface option. |
