LED Signs Bring Tattersalls into the Digital Age
Spectra’s challenge was to design a digital LED sign sympathetic to the historic surroundings, while keeping the stakeholders happy.
Tattersalls, the world-renowned auction house in Newmarket, England, desperately needed to replace its timeworn mechanical bid display board.
However, as the oldest bloodstock auctioneers in the world, Spectra’s challenge was to design a digital LED sign sympathetic to the historic surroundings, while keeping the stakeholders happy.
The software driven LED solution includes a full colour video main screen in the sales ring, with repeat screens over the entrance and exit doors, and a continuous scrolling LED sign in the pre-parade ring. The flexible solution can also be used by the company’s events and weddings departments, with ticker tape scrolling personalised messages.
Even the most traditional stakeholders are pleased with the end result. From the marketing team to the property department and board of directors. From an IT point of view, the new digital LED signs is making life easier for everyone. Spectra’s digital LED solution sits nicely and is a lot more capable, offering excellent value for money.
