New “invisible” LED lighting designs goes on show at Maison & Objet

French designer Henri Bursztyn last week unveiled a series of new lighting pieces in Paris at the Maison & Objet fair. Described as part lighting accessory and part object of art, the design featured what has been named "invisible LED technology."

The principle piece exhibited (see below) was the "B612", featuring four concentric metal rings that can be twisted on their axes. The piece can be used either as a table lamp or as a suspended lamp. What an imaginative use of LED!
